The Medical City Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology – Perinatology

The Medical City (TMC) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is currently accepting applicants for its two-year fellowship program in Perinatology accredited by the Philippine Society of Maternal and Fetal Medicine (PSMFM).

The unique features of this fellowship program include training in Gynecologic Ultrasound, apart from the comprehensive obstetric ultrasound ingrained in the core curriculum, an outside rotation in Genetics at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and rotations at the Neonatology Unit and Endocrinology Unit of TMC. These provide the fellow trainees a more wholistic approach to the management of their cases as future Perinatologists.

At the end of the training program, the fellow trainees will receive two certificates, one for perinatology training and another for the gynecologic ultrasound training which the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (PSUOG) recognizes. Graduates of this program are likewise given a guaranteed privilege to practice in any of the five TMC hospitals all over the country – TMC Main (Ortigas), TMC Iloilo, TMC Clark, TMC South Luzon and TMC Pangasinan as well as in the 40 TMC clinics located in Metro Manila, Luzon and Iloilo.
