AD is a chronic, recurring, itchy inflammatory condition of the skin.
What are the Signs & Symptoms?
How does one get Atopic Dermatitis?
The exact cause of atopic dermatitis is unknown, but it may result from a combination of inherited tendencies for sensitive skin, a breakdown of the skin barrier and a malfunction in the body's immune system.
What are the Triggering Factors?
How is AD diagnosed?
There is NO one definitive test to diagnose atopic dermatitis.
It is usually diagnosed based on an examination of the patient’s skin and a careful detailed review of the medical history.
How is AD managed?
