About Us
The Ear, Nose, Throat - Head and Neck Institute integrates specialized services such as The Center for Voice and Swallowing, Hearing and Dizziness Unit, and Prosthetic Laboratory. The team is comprised of board-certified physicians who specialize in the medical and surgical management of patients with ear, nose, and throat (ENT) diseases. The breadth of expertise of the ENT physicians encompasses commonly encountered diseases such as ear pain, hearing loss, dizziness, tonsillitis, laryngitis, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and even the common cold.
Over time, the field has further expanded into multiple subspecialties namely Otology, Rhinopharyngology, Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, Pediatric ENT, and Sleep Medicine. The advent of these subspecialties has made it possible to address more complicated diseases including malignant head and neck tumors, facial fractures, swallowing and voice disorders, and aesthetic facial deformities.
By being a multispecialty field, the institute has been able to extend its services to its patients and provide them with a holistic approach to disease management in order to ensure improvement in their quality of life.
Training
Aside from its clinical endeavors, the institute accepts trainees annually. It offers a private hospital-based four-year Residency Training Program, which has been accredited by the Philippine Board of Otolaryngology since 1996. Our goal is to produce globally competitive ENT specialists who are compassionate, conscientious, and service-oriented.
Research
Another advocacy of the institute is to provide academic and professional advancement in the field of ENT-HNS through research and Continuing Medical Education (CME). The involvement of consultants and residents in workshops and seminars has been highly encouraged in order to promote the continual medical updates for the improvement of patient care and health innovation as well.
