The Women’s Health Care Center is designed to be a one-step center for the assessment of risks for abnormalities in all aspects of OB-GYN care, from womb to tomb. The WHCC houses The Medical City’s ultrasound specialty center for obstetrics and gynecology. Our board-certified subspecialists in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound provide comprehensive ultrasound imaging services for women of all ages, ranging from basic transvaginal ultrasound of the female reproductive system to advanced ultrasound procedures that can detect ovarian masses and assess the individual patient’s risk of malignancy, and procedures that can map out deep infiltrating endometriosis.

For women with heavy menstrual bleeding or irregular/abnormal uterine bleeding, this clinic offers services for endometrial assessment, including ultrasound diagnosis and saline infusion sonography, as well as outpatient procedures for endometrial sampling.

For couples desirous of getting pregnant, this clinic offers services for assessment of the pelvic organs, such as 5D-Ultraasound antral follicle count and monitoring, 3D-Ultrasound evaluation for uterine malformation and hysterosonosalpingography (HSSG). Ultrasound-guided assisted reproductive technique called intra-uterine insemination (IUI) is also offered.
This clinic provides the special healthcare needs of women in the perimenopausal and menopausal age group. Services include packages for diagnostic examinations of the menopausal woman and counseling, support and treatment of various menopausal symptoms.
