The Orthopedic Multispecialty Center (OMC) is a unit composed of orthopedic subspecialists that works in tandem with the Department of Orthopedics to address various specialized musculoskeletal conditions. Our roster of orthopedic surgeons boasts of a full complement of specialists who are internationally and locally trained in their respective fields and are fully certified to provide care and expertise in the following subspecialties (including but not confined to):
Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy
Sports injuries
Sports conditioning, injury prevention, return to sport
Minimally invasive sports surgeries and reconstructions (e.g. ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, rotator cuff repair, surgery for shoulder and patella dislocation)
Arthritis and Joint Replacement
Primary joint replacement for degenerative and inflammatory arthritis
Complex joint replacement and reconstruction (for revision of preexisting joint replacement, trauma, oncologic conditions, infection sequelae, and the like)
Non-surgical management of degenerative joint disease
Hand and Microvascular Surgery
Hand trauma (e.g. soft tissue, tendon, nerve, vascular, bone, amputations)
Overuse syndromes (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, de Quervains disease)

The Center is fully equipped with facilities for minor in- and outpatient procedures that do not require regional or general anesthesia or an operating room setup. All emergency cases will be directed to the Emergency Room for proper evaluation and prompt care.

Change of dressing and superficial wound care
Removal of sutures and skin staples
Removal of superficial implants such as pins and external fixators
Application and removal of splints and casts
Aspiration of joints
Bisphosphonate infusion and other anti-osteoporosis/anti-resorptive medication injections Intraarticular and soft tissue injections such as:
Sodium Hyaluronate
Steroid
Platelet Rich Plasma
Knee Arthrometer Drawer’s test for quantitative assessment of knee injuries and stability (e.g. ACL, PCL injuries)
Fine and core-needle biopsy of bone and soft tissue tumors
