Living with Cancer Photo Contest

Contest Mechanics:

The contest is open to all members of The Medical City community including doctors, nurses, employees, patients, and patients’ relatives.

The photograph must depict the theme, “Portraits of Hope: Living with Cancer”. The photo must feature a Medical City cancer patient living a productive and meaningful life. The photographer is responsible for securing permission from the subject or, in the case of a minor, from the subject’s parent or guardian.

Photographs should be submitted in the following formats:

12R size, color print, unmounted
JPEG Format File with a minimum size of 4MB in a Compact Disc (CD).

All entries must be an original material taken by the photographer and should not include watermarks, signatures, frames, date and/or time stamp or any other markings on the photo.

Entries should be submitted to The Cancer Center at the 8th floor together with a registration form that can be obtained on-site.

Deadline of submission of entries: September 20, 2013.

Selection of Winning Entries:

From all the submitted entries, three (3) judges shall select ten (10) entries.

The judging process shall be audited by an authorized third party.

The decision of the board of judges is final. The 10 finalists’ entries shall be put on display at The Medical City lobby from September 16-20, 2013.

PRIZES:

1st place:  P 15,000.00
2nd place: P 10,000.00
3rd place: P 5,000.00
