Learn how this partnership is advancing smarter healthcare for every patient.

TMC, a nationwide hospital network and PhilCare, a digital-first prepaid healthcare provider, join forces to make quality healthcare simpler to reach.

Pasig City, Philippines — The Medical City (TMC) and PhilCare have formalized a strategic partnership that pairs TMC’s nationwide healthcare network with PhilCare’s prepaid healthcare products and digital tools, making it easier for Filipinos to access care wherever they are. Both parties signed a memorandum of agreement on June 2, 2026, at TMC Ortigas.

The agreement brings the flagship hospital in Ortigas, TMC Clark, TMC South Luzon, TMC Iloilo, TMC Pangasinan, and over 70 TMC Clinics under a unified arrangement with PhilCare, giving members access to a broad network of healthcare services across the country.

Through the partnership, PhilCare members can use their prepaid healthcare products and the streamlined electronic Letter of Authorization (eLOA) system at any TMC hospital or clinic. To ensure smooth processing, members are encouraged to present their PhilCare membership details at the point of care so the eLOA can be issued without delay.

“At The Medical City, we continuously seek ways to improve how patients access and experience healthcare. Our partnership with PhilCare combines the strength of our nationwide healthcare network with prepaid and digital solutions that make care more convenient, accessible, and responsive to the needs of today’s patients,” Dr. Stuart Bennett, President and Group CEO, The Medical City.

The signing brought together leaders from TMC hospitals across the country, underscoring the enterprise-wide scope of the collaboration. Present at the ceremony were TMC Clark Hospital Director Earline D. Borlongan, TMC Iloilo Chief Executive Officer Dr. Felix Ray Villa, TMC Ortigas Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ruben G. Kasala, TMC Pangasinan Chief Executive Officer Dr. Juan Antonio Maximiano R. Escano, and TMC South Luzon Chief Executive Officer Dr. Cesar Ramon G. Espiritu.
