The Medical City recently celebrated its 48th year anniversary with1TMC-themed Lego exhibit at the hospital lobby and a program at TMC Main’s auditorium participated in by all the other network sites via live video streaming.

The celebration started at 9 am on November 6, 2015 with the unveiling of the 1TMC exhibit.

“In celebration of its 48th anniversary, The Medical City presents this unique Lego exhibit, featuring the hospitals and clinics in our 1TMC Network. These mini scale models are labors of love – built with creativity by the official Philippine Lego Users Group Ambassador, Randy Protacio, and masterfully turned into the wonderful art pieces seen before you. Since our beginnings as the ABM Sison Hospital in 1967, to our renaming in 1975, and our move to Ortigas in 2004, The Medical City continues to grow and extend its world-class care to more locations here and abroad.

In the same way each lego piece is a building block, so do we build stronger patient partnerships and lay the foundation of a unified network, working together to keep TMC brand of health care on the global scale of excellence.

Because good health is more than just a right, it is our responsibility. We are 1TMC,”says Dr. Alfredo R.A. Bengzon, TMC President and CEO.

Dr. Bengzon and TMC Chairman of the Board Dr. Augusto P. Sarmiento unveiled each miniature network site made from Lego– starting with The Medical City Clinics, followed by TMC Dubai, TMC Pangasinan, TMC South Luzon, Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC), TMC Clark, TMC Iloilo, and TMC Main or TMC Ortigas - and added the final piece.
