What is TMC’s Vaccine on Wheels? 

The Medical City Vaccine On Wheels provides home-service administration of flu vaccination and pre-vaccination teleconsultation for adult and pediatric patients.

How can I avail of this service? 

• To book an appointment, please fill out the form below and a Remote Care representative will contact you within 24 hours after your registration.
• Remote Care Services personnel schedules your pre-vaccination teleconsultation on your preferred schedule.
• Remote Care Services personnel assists you for payment and booking of your home-service vaccination schedule, once cleared by the Physician.
• Remote Care Services nurse visits your home and administers the vaccines, following the agreed schedule.
• For booking concerns, you may contact Remote Care Services at (02)8-988-1000 ext. 3302, 6413, and 6513 between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday-Sunday (including holidays). Home- visit vaccine administration is every Tuesdays and Thursdays (excluding holidays) from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

What is a pre-vaccination teleconsultation? 
The pre- vaccination teleconsultation is an online discussion with Remote Care Services physician (Pediatrician, Remote Care Doctors, Geriatrician), for detailed history-taking to identify risks based on previous allergies, serious side effects from a vaccine, current infection, and current condition (e.g. pregnancy).

What are my payment options? 

You may pay online prior to scheduled home visit via online payment link, and bank transfer.

Can I use my HMO or company guarantee for this service? 
Yes, if your HMO covers the procedure. You may contact your Provider or visit https://www.themedicalcity.com/loa-request to check your eligibility.

How much does the Package cost?

There are three packages available:

• Package for 5: ₱ 9,616.00
• Package for 3: ₱ 6,250.00
• Package for 1: ₱ 2,815.00

Package prices are inclusive of the teleconsultation, home-visit vaccination, and administration fee. Home service fees (based on total procedures or services availed) will still apply.

For those who complete the teleconsultation but do not qualify for the vaccination, an ₱800.00 assessment fee will be charged instead of the package rate.

Do I need to get this vaccine even if I already had my CoViD-19 shot? 

Yes. Flu vaccines are different from CoViD-19 vaccines.

After how many days from my CoViD-19 vaccine am I safe to get my flu vaccine? 

Flu, Pneumococcal, and COVID-19 vaccines can be safely given or co-administered without any waiting time. However, if you are worried about experiencing side-effects, you can still follow a 14-day interval between getting your COVID-19 vaccine and availing Flu or Pneumococcal vaccines at The Medical City.

Is the quality the same as an in-person visit? 

The quality of home service has been found to be a safe, cost-effective, and convenient way to administer flu vaccines.

What should I expect during the home visit? 

The nurse will come on the scheduled visit. For everyone’s protection, the nurse will be wearing basic PPE.
