The Medical City Pangasinan (formerly known as University of Pangasinan Medical Center) is a category 3 (Tertiary) General hospital and is fully accredited by the Department of Health, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation and RHO.
The hospital was initially known as the Pangasinan Medical Center which opened on January 01, 1972 funded by several outstanding Dagupan City Doctors. Afterwards, it was owned by PHINMA Company in 2009 and became the University of Pangasinan Medical Center.
At present, The Medical City, Inc. bought University of Pangasinan Medical Center, Inc. to PHINMA Company in May 2015 and was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 20, 2015 with its trade name The Medical City Pangasinan or TMC Pangasinan.
In addition, the network’s facility is located in the heart of the city of Dagupan, Pangasinan. It is easily accessible that it serves patients not only from the city but from the neighbouring districts too. TMC Pangasinan is a 4,703 square meters property and is presently composed of 2,927.4 square meters of floor space. The present hospital facility consists of 4 floors with entire necessary infrastructure, equipped laboratories, administrative offices, attached with over 70 beds and 50 doctors’ clinics.
Due to the vision and mission of many committed professionals and the quality of the services rendered, these inspired the hospital’s administration to expand the facilities and increase capacity by more than 100 beds and up to 80 doctor’s clinics. Further development of the hospital is under-way for new ground-breaking patient services.
