The Medical City’s Wound Care Center was established to cater to the increasing number of patients with stoma and wound problems, staffed by highly competent nurses who specialize and are well-trained in the field of stoma and wound care.

Offering a convenient and personalized approach, TMC Wound Care on Wheels ensures continuous monitoring, promoting healing, and extending comfort beyond the traditional hospital setting. The program's overarching goals include providing comprehensive care at home that is closely monitored by the doctor-in-charge and ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life for patients.

Wound Care on Wheels provides comprehensive assistance to individuals of all ages dealing with chronic wounds and ostomy complications requiring multidisciplinary care. This includes vascular catheter care, management of neoplastic wounds, stoma counseling and education, stoma distal feeding and irrigation, as well as foot and nail care for diabetic patients as part of preventive care. The program is specifically tailored for patients who encounter difficulties in traveling to the hospital.
