What is TMC’s Healthy Aging Home Package?

The Medical City (TMC) Healthy Aging Home Package is a home-based Preventive Health Check for senior citizens

What are included in this package?

The following are included in the package:

Geriatric Doctor home visit for physical assessment;
Laboratory Test;
ECG to monitor heart status; Cardiovascular Test (ECG);
Post-check-up teleconsultation with Geriatrician for Healthy Aging Planning and Advise

Who can avail of this service?

Patients 60 years old and above can avail of this package

How can I avail of this service?

To book for the package, patients may send their request via email at tmc_wcl@themedicalcity.com and/or call (02) 8-988-1000 ext. 6582, 6386, 6579, Mon-Sat 6:00am-5:00pm

What are the consultations with the geriatrician?

The Attending TMC geriatrician will see the patient 3 times: 1st is a pre- visit teleconsultation assessment; 2nd is a face-to-face home visit for physical assessment; and 3rd is a post- check-up teleconsultation. A link for teleconsultation will be sent to the patient’s email.

What are the schedules for consultation?

Pre- visit Consultation: 2 days prior preferred home- visit consultation
Home-visit Consultation: every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Post- Assessment Consultation (For results interpretation)

What are my payment options?

Patients may pay in advance via online bank transfer

Can I use my HMO or company guarantee for this service?

You may coordinate with your HMO/ insurance provider for possible coverage. You can request LOA through themedicalcity.com/loa-request

How much does this package cost?

The package costs P32,412 less the senior citizen’s discount

Is the quality the same if done in the hospital?

Yes, tele- remote care has shown effectiveness in delivering health services for convenience and utmost safety of the patient

What should I expect during the home visit?

All schedules will be coordinated with the patient. The visit for the physical exam by the Doctor, blood extraction by Medical Technologist, and ECG by the Cardio Technologist will happen on the same day. The blood extraction and ECG is expected to last for 30mins, depending on the condition of the patient
