The Safe Travels Promo is open to all patients of TMC needing COVID-19 RT-PCR test and/ or medical travel certificate for clearance.

  1. Patients must present any proof of travel such as but not limited to travel itinerary, ticket, OWWA ID.
  2. Collection of RT-PCR sample may be done remotely (at home or hotel) within Metro Manila or at The Medical City Ambulatory Care Center, except for the OFW Package that can only be done at the latter. 
  3. Medical Certificate, applicable to Packages 1 and 2 will be issued after teleconsultation with The Medical City Primary Care Physician.
  4. Official results shall be available within 24 hours* from the time of collection and shall be sent to patients via email.
  5. Procedures must be done within the promo period (July 8 to September 30, 2021).
  6. This promo is available only at the The Medical City, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City.
  7. This promo cannot be used in conjunction with any other promo or discount.
  8. In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, the senior citizen or PWD can avail of the promotional discount or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizen Act of 2010/An Act Expanding the Benefits and Privileges of Persons with Disability, whichever is higher.

What is the operating hours?

  • Booking and Appointment is open 24/7. Expect confirmation within 24 hours from time booking. This service is not available for same- day service. Please take note of the travel requirements and book ahead of time.
  • For Home Service, The Medical Technologists collect samples from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 2:00pm.
  • For In- Hospital Service, The Ambulatory Care Center is open from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 6:00pm
  • For Teleconsultation, The Medical City Primary Care Physicians are available from Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 9:00pm

What are the steps to avail this promo?

For Home Service:

  • Click this link (https://bit.ly/safetravelsregistration) and input patient’s personal details, preferred schedule, and package to be availed.
  • For Safe Travels Package 2 Group of 3, Home service will be rendered in one location only.
  • You will be contacted by the laboratory representative for validation and confirmation of schedule.
  • You will be visited by the Medical Technologist for sample collection and facilitation of payment (payment may also be done ahead of time)

For In-hospital service at the Ambulatory Care Center

  • You may book and pay (payment may also be done during your visit) thru The Medical City’s Online Platform (bit.ly/ambu-online).
  • You will receive a confirmation for your appointment.
  • Go to TMC Ambulatory Care Center on the day of your appointment and proceed with the sample collection.

For teleconsultation:

  • Make sure you that you already have your RT-PCR results and official receipt before booking online.
  • Go to Patient Portal via online.themedicalcity.com/online-services. Log- in as an existing user or sign-up for a new account.
  • Click “Ambulatory Care Center” from the “Online Services” tab and search for “Ambulatory Care Tele-Consultation with Medical Certificate”
  • Choose your preferred schedule, confirm your booking details, and click “Book Now” to proceed.
  • Select “HMO / Corporate” as payment method then click “Proceed”. Attach the OR for Safetravels Package and click “Submit”.
  • You will receive a confirmation for your appointment.
  • Go to “Appointments” tab then click “Forms”. Choose “Doctor’s Forms” and “Submit Document” to upload your RT-PCR result.

What are my payment options?

  • For home service, you may pay in cash or credit card prior the onsite specimen collection or during the home visit. Other options are via online payment link, or bank transfer thru Banco De Oro.
  • For in-hospital service at The Medical City Ambulatory Care Center, you may pay online thru the TMC Online Portal (https://online.themedicalcity.com/patient/) prior your scheduled visit or onsite during your appointment.

Can I use my HMO or company guarantee for this service?

  • You will be directed by TMC laboratory representative to contact your HMO Call Center or Company HR to secure Letter of Authorization (LOA) for your procedure.

How will I get my result?

  • TMC laboratory representative will send your results via email. Your official receipt will be sent thru email as well.
